Louis D'or who were unbeaten up to their final game against Unknown needed a victory to capture the title because they had drawn one game while Answer back had lost one game.
However, cheered on by the vociferous Answer Back supporters, Unknown played a quality game to give Answer Back the title and place themselves in a good position to capture second place. They completed their schedule with 16 points, the same number as Louis D'or which means that goal difference will settle the issue.
In the first half both teams had good scoring opportunities but neither was able to convert. However, the game really came alive in the second half after Unknown opened their account courtesy a Jermaine Walters item.
Louis D'or knowing that only victory would give them the title attacked with all their men but Unknown was able to hold them off and late in the game from a well-orchestrated counter-attack, Unknown sealed the issue as Travin Walters scored a beauty.
The semifinal of the Knockout is schedule to be played tonight (Friday) once the disciplinary committee handed down a decision on the last quarterfinal game between Rejects and Roll Call, earlier in the week. Ill-discipline by members of both teams brought the game to an abrupt end last Thursday.
Night Stars and Streams of Power will contest one semifinal while Unknown will play the winner of the Rejects - Roll Call match.
