ACTION will continue this week in the in the Ministry of Sport and Youth Affairs “Freedom Cup...No more Borders” Football League at Sogren Trace, Laventille.

Matches are played at 7 pm and 8 pm. Today In de Track will play Sweet Chocolate in the first match followed by Full Thruttle taking on Take Dat. Tomorrow Jus Come plays Palms Ville followed by Sou Sou Lands Rebels versus One Love while on Thursday Scrape Up will play Brooklyn United in the first match with the other match featuring Little Monsters and Mulrain FC.

The football league is intended to empower youths in marginalised areas of Trinidad and Tobago and to build positive relationships throughout the community.

Also the organisers are hopeful of identifying talented footballers as well as providing a source of positive engagement for the Morvant Laventille youths. Matches are expected to continue until December 5.
