Marcus Chandool and Dyllan Charles scored two goals each as Fire blazed Bon Air Strikers 6-2 in Group D of the 16-team Santa Cruz Football Organisation Monteco Cup on Thursday.
Stefon Allard and Kaleem Williams added one each for Fire while Quincy Cudjoe and S Deonarine were on target for Bon Air Strikers at the Brian Lara Recreation Ground, Sam Boucaud, Lower Santa Cruz.
With the win, Fire joined River Plate as qualifiers for the quarterfinals with six points each after two matches.
At the end of the group round-robin series, the top two clubs in each group will qualify for the quarterfinals, followed by the semifinals and final. The winner of the tournament will walk away with $10,000 while second gets $5,000, third $2,500 and fourth, $1,500.
