M&M HARVARD will be serious challengers for this year’s title in the National Super League football. Team manager Louis Charles expressed great confidence in his team which will be introduced at the Harvard Club, Tragarete Road (opposite Pizza Hut) tonight at 7 pm. Players were carefully screened for this year’s team and have been undergoing rigid training by ex-national team trainer Ken Henry since January.
Charles promised many new faces in this year’s M&M Harvard squad and said he expects them to be a force with which to be reckoned. M&M Harvard will again be coached by ex-national defender Winston “Bee” Phillips and will be at the helm when they take on Eastern powerhouse WASA Clean & White in their opening match on June 15.
Club president and Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation boss Oliver Camps will give a welcome address. And following a progress report and prospects for this season by Charles, the players will be introduced. Later, M&M Insurance Services Limited managing director Steve Castagne will address the gathering.
