PRISONS FC stayed atop the standings in the CNG National Super League Championship Division on Tuesday after drubbing Saddle Hill Hotspur 4-1 in their Match Day Four fixture at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) Ground, Arouca.
Ricardo Alleyne put Prisons FC 2-1 up in the 74th and the hosts did not let go of their advantage, as Carrington (80th) and Alleyne (87th) completed the come-from-behind triumph.
Queen’s Park remained in second place after a narrow 2-1 victory over Malabar FC at the D’Abadie Recreation Ground. Jerome Charles (third) and Benedict Barrett (35th) were the goal-getters for the Parkites, while Che Edwards (75th) pulled one back for Malabar.
Stevon Stoute recorded a hattrick as Cunupia FC took care of Petit Valley United 4-2 at the Edinburgh 500 Recreation Ground in Chaguanas.
Stoute netted in the first, 77th and 90th minutes, while Duayne Jan-Baptiste struck in the fourth minute. Getting the goals for Petit Valley were Keston Bibby- Cummings (51st) and Eric Charles (57th).
Neon O’Garro (30th) and Kareem Beckles (55th) were the goal-getters as Xtra Foods Chaguanas whipped Edinburgh 500 FC 2-0 at the New Settlement Ground, Chaguanas.
And Barrackpore United earned their first point of the season, as they defeated the University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT) 3-2 at the Barrackpore Recreation Ground.
Theon James (20th) and Triston Pierre (33rd) gave UTT a 2-0 lead, but Barrackpore rallied back, with a pair from Keion La Rode (67th and 90th) and one from Jeremy Spann (90th).
