JOSIAH GRAZETTE netted twice as Central 500 Spartans fought back from a goal down to hammer Carenage United 4-1 in a rescheduled National Super League Championship Division Match Day Three meeting at the Dibe Recreation Ground, Long Circular, St James on Saturday.

Central 500 Spartans have now moved up one notch to second on the standings with 16 points, one behind table- toppers University of Trinidad and Tobago (UTT).

Kendell Baptiste put Carenage ahead in the 27th minute but the lead only lasted four minutes as Josiah Alleyne equalised in the 31st.

Grazette struck a pair of decisive goals, in the 33rd and 67th minutes, and the result was all but assured when Calvi Grazette found the back of the net, in the third minute of stoppage time.

The other fixture on Saturday, between Saddle Hill Hotspur and Youth Stars, which was due to take place at the Pascal Recreation Ground in Maraval, was postponed to a date to be announced.
