CUNUPIA FC rallied from a goal down to defeat Barrackpore United 2-1 on Saturday, in the National Super League Championship Division.
Renaldo Jack sparked early celebrations for the fans at the Barrackpore Recreation Ground as he put the hosts ahead in the 20th minute but striker Gorean Highley tied the scores eight minutes later. And the league leaders completed the comeback in the second minute of second- half stoppage time when Michael Yaw Darko found the back of the net.
Meanwhile, Saddle Hill got a narrow 1-0 win over Youth Stars at the Cyd Gray Ground in Roxborough courtesy Hakeem King in the 52nd.
And, in a match of lowly-placed outfits, TT Prisons FC edged Petit Valley/Diego Martin FC 2-1 at the Youth Training Centre (YTC) Ground in Arouca. Ricardo Alleyne (40th) and Mackanacky Rivers (76th) were on target for the hosts, while Petit Valley/Diego Martin were indebted to an own goal, in the 62nd. Central 500 Spartans had a 3-0 victory by default over Carenage United.
