HECTOR SAM, the former Trinidad and Tobago striker, scored twice as Saddle Hill Hotspur came from a goal down to edge Youth Stars 2-1 in a rescheduled National Super League Championship Division Match Day Three fixture on Wednesday at the Pascal Recreation Ground, Maraval.

Henson Charles put the visitors ahead in the 28th minute but Sam levelled the scores in the 41st minute. And the 38-year-old, who has a record of two goals in 20 international matches, from 1999-2005, got the winner for Saddle Hill with eight minutes of regulation time left.

With the result, Saddle Hill moved up one spot to fourth, while Youth Stars remain in sixth.
