Petit Valley/Diego Martin United captured the League Two crown after a dramatic day of action on Saturday, in the Trinidad and Tobago Super League.

Entering the day in third spot, Petit Valley/Diego Martin United earned a 3-0 default win over Harlem Strikers 3-0 while overnight leaders Prisons FC fell to a 1-0 loss to Youth Stars.

As a result, Petit Valley/Diego Martin United finished with 23 points, while Prisons FC ended on 22 points.

A win for Prisons, at the Mt Gomery Recreation Ground, would have seen them complete a successful title campaign, but Nathan Cadiz found the back of the net in the 73rd to guarantee full points for Youth Stars.

The other scheduled game in League Two, between Marabella FCC and Perseverance Ball Runners, at Guaracara Park in Pointe-a-Pierre, was postponed to a date to be announced.
