After a slow start while finding their feet in the bmobile National Super League, the Trinidad and Tobago Under-20 squad are becoming the greatest threat to take away the title from defending champions WASA FC.
The national youths, using the Super League as preparation for the CONCACAF U-20 qualifiers, which T&T host next March, are in sharp form. Former Super League champs Crab Connection felt their cutting edge when falling 14-0 to the U20s on Wednesday.

Strikers Jamal Gay (22nd, 30th and 45th), Daniel Joseph (67th , 69th and 72nd), and Jamal Clarence (51st, 54th and 59th) each scored hat-tricks for the T&T Under-20s, who led Crab Connection 5-0 at the half before getting a further nine goals in the second session.

The national U20s are back in action today against Defence Force, who they beat 2-0 earlier in the season to capture the 2008 Super League Knockout crown. Should they win again, the T&T youths will cut WASA's lead atop the Super League to just two points and still have a match in hand.
