Leaders T&TEC have been given a further chance to stretch their lead atop the bmobile National Super League after nearest rivals WASA FC faltered on Sunday when they were beaten 4-0 at home by visiting Defence Force.

The Army-Coast Guard combination went to St Joseph and got goals from Kevin Jagdeosingh (32nd, 45th), Keseon Theodore (37th) and Sherman "Ants" Phillip (77th).

Despite the defeat, WASA still lie second on 32 points, while Tobago's 1976 FC Phoenix are third on 29 points.

T&TEC (37 points) have the chance to push further clear when they meet defending Super League champions Joe Public on December 13. The match was originally scheduled for today at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, but has been rescheduled.
