WASA and West Side Super Starzs will battle in the All Sport Shield tomorrow, from 7 pm, as the 2011 Bmobile National Super League kicks off at the Ato Boldon Stadium, Couva.

The All Sport Shield, a new initiative by the organisers All Sport Promotions and the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation (TTFF), will feature the 2010 league winners and the victorious team in the Champion of Champions playoffs.

But TTEC, the 2010 champs, are now involved in the Digicel Pro League, therefore second-placed WASA will participate in the opening game of the season.

This game is part of the Match Day One fixture list, with the other four games taking place on Wednesday — Eagles United against 1976 FC Phoenix, Joe Public facing Defence Force, Real Maracas hosting Club Sando Giants and Stokely Vale FC battling St Francois Nationals.

This is the 10th year of the Super League and, in addition to the league and knock-out competitions, there will also be a Christmas Cup which begins in November and runs until December (when the league draws to a close).
