Club Sando missed the opportunity to regain top spot in the bmobile National Super League when they were held 1-1 by Westside Super Starz on Wednesday on the training ground at the Hasely Crawford Stadium.
The draw left Club Sando in second position and a point adrift of leaders Stokely Vale (21 points).
Club Sando took the lead in the 26th through Andy London, before home team Starz equalised in the 32nd through Christon Freitas.
Likewise, both Joe Public and Stokely Vale warmed up for their knockout showdown by scoring league victories in the week. The teams will meet in the Super League knockout final on Sunday from 5 p.m. at Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet, Tobago.
On Monday, second-half goals from Michael Carrington (42nd) and Tyronne Manning (83rd) gave Stokely Vale a 2-0 home win over WASA FC.
And on Wednesday, Joe Public also used home advantage to beat bottom team St Francois Nationals 3-1.
St Francois Nationals put up a fight and were level at 1-1 at the end of the first half. Striker Brent Antoine gave Joe Public a fourth minute lead, before Lorne Joseph equalised in the 33rd.
But Joe Public were able to pull away in the second half when they got two goals from striker Dorian Robinson (65th and 80th).
