W Connection, San Juan Jabloteh and Police FC all came away with 100 per cent winning records from their three age-groups encounters when the 2017 Flow Youth Pro League kicked off on Sunday across Trinidad.

However, while Jabloteh’s players were actually involved in action for all three scheduled matches with Club Sando at San Juan North Secondary, Bourg Mulatresse, San Juan; W Connection only faced rivals Central FC at Gilbert Park, California twice while Police players won without breaking a sweat as Ma Pau Stars failed to show at the St James Police Barracks, Training Ground, Long Circular, St James.

In the Under-13 age-group, Molik Khan netted a hat-trick in the tenth, 16th and 44th minutes to lead W Connection to a comfortable 7-1 bashing of Central FC.

In the Under-15 match-up W Connection got a double from Adica Ash in the 17th and W70th to blank Central 2-0, while in the Under-17 Division, W Connection won by default.

At San Juan, Kanye Baker netted a 14th minute penalty while Jaheim Faustin (27th), the son of former “Strike Squad” utility player Marvin Faustin, and Kosi Charles (70th) were all on target in Jabloteh’s 3-1 whipping of Club Sando which got its lone reply from Joshua Kesney in their Under-13 clash.

Jabloteh also took their Under-15 duel by a two-goals margin with Nickell Alexander and Jerry Morrris the scorers, while in the Under-17s, the trio of Kidane Lewis, Nickell Orr and Terrel Roberts each scored in a 3-0 Jabloteh triumph.

The only other hat-trick scorer on the day was national Under-17 midfielder, Che Benny in St Ann’s Rangers 7-0 mauling of Defence Force at Trinity College Ground, Moka, Maraval.

Club Sando defeated defending champions San Juan Jabloteh in the Under-13 category but the reigning champs managed a victory in their Under-15 and Under-17 matches when the Flow Youth Pro League kicked off Sunday.

Jabloteh, who swept all categories last year, suffered defeat in the Under-13 category, going down 1-3 to Club Sando through goals from Sando's Kanye Baker (14th minute penalty), Jaheim Fustin (27th) and Kosi Charles (70th).

Jabloteh's consolation came from the boot of Joshua Kesney.

In the Under-15 encounter, Jabloteh shut out Sando 2-0 thanks to goals from Nickell Alexander (13th) and Jerry Morris (18th).

And in the Under-17 division, Jabloteh stamped their authority on Sando with a 3-0 shutout. Kidane Lewis (28th), Nickel Orr (50th) and Terrel Roberts (67th) got the goals for Jabloteh.

W Connection registered wins in all their matches against Central FC, including a 6-1 result among the Under-13s; 2-0 in the Under-15s; and a default 3-0 win in the Under-17s.

Molik Khan's hat-trick (10th, 16th 44th,) powered Connection to a comfortable Under-13 victory with Jaden Grant (31st), Levi Jones (49th) and Shakeem Williams (59th) adding one item each. Abdul-Qudoos Hypolite (30th) notched Central's lone goal.

Adica Ash (17th & 70th) grabbed a double for the 2-0 win in the Under-15 match.

Meanwhile, St Ann's Rangers delivered a brutal 7-0 win over the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force (TTDF) in the Under-17 category with St Anthony's College's Che Benny leading the way with a hat-trick (15th, 27th 54th) while teammates Jesse Williams (3rd), Emmanuel Cumberbatch (18th), Nkosi Salandy (37th) and Kesean St Rose (90+) chipping in with one goal apiece.

But Rangers lost by default among the Under-13s and the TTDF eked out a 2-1 win in the Under-15 game when Justin Araujo-Wilson (40th) and Marc Wharfe (61st) found the net, while Jaden Mc Kree scored an own goal.

Elsewhere, Police FC won all three matches by default over Ma Pau Stars.

Point Fortin Civic Centre also claimed a default win over Morvant/Caledonia AIA while splitting results in the Under-15 and Under-17 encounters.

Trinidad and Tobago youth midfielder Che Benny struck twice in the first half before completing his hat-trick after the break to help St. Ann’s Rangers Under-17s to a convincing 7-0 win over Defence Force counterparts on Sunday—the opening day of the Flow Youth Pro League 2017.

Jesse Williams provided Rangers U17's opening item after just three minutes at Trinity College ground, Moka. And, by the half-time whistle Rangers were five-nil ahead after Benny found the back of the net in the 15th and 27th minutes, interrupted by teammate Emmanuel Cumberbatch's 18th-minute item, before Nkosi Salandy got on the scoresheet in the 37th minute.

Benny, who proved an exciting prospect for Rangers first team near the end of the just concluded top flight Pro League, completed his hat-trick nine minutes after the break before Kesean St Rose completed the 7-0 rout on 90 minutes.

It was sweet revenge for Rangers who had earlier--at the same venue--surrendered full points by default in the Under-13 division and lost 2-1 against their Defence Force counterparts in the Under-15 age-group.

Down at the Mahaica Oval, hosts Point Fortin Civic celebrated an earlier 7-0 win over Morvant Caledonia United in the Under-15 division.

Kistoff Bartholomew and Ezekiel Kesar both netted twice for Civic who also had a goal each from Moredecai Brown, Gesiah Bishop and Thaj Neptune against Morvant Caledonia, who, earlier on the day, lost by default in the U-13s division against the southerners.

However the visitors had the last say, defeating Civic 2-1 in the U17s. Jaleni Augustus and Dwight Yorke scored late in the first half to cushion Morvant Caledonia against Civic who grabbed a consolation item near the end through Nkosi Charles.

Elsewhere San Juan Jabloteh, two-time reigning champions of all divisions in the last two seasons, W Connection and Police FC enjoyed clean sweeps in all divisions on Sunday.

Jabloteh defeated Club Sando 3-1, 2-0 and 3-0 in the U13, U15 and U17 divisions respectively at the San Juan North Secondary ground, while Connection, 6-1 winners over Central in the U13s, went on to defeat their Couva rivals 2-0 in the U15s before winning by default in the U17 division.

Police, meanwhile, racked up full points in all three divisions without kicking a ball as North East Stars lost by default.

Police returns against Defence Force on Sunday 12 March for Round One Match Day Two in all three divisions at Trinity East ground. Also, Central FC will host Morvant Caledonia United at St. Augustine Secondary school ground, while Club Sando face St. Ann’s Rangers at Manny Ramjohn Stadium.
