Tunapuna Boys’ RC defeated Dunross Preparatory School 3-1 at Hasely Crawford Stadium, Port of Spain, to advance to the semi-final round of the Atlantic Primary Schools Football League.

In what was a keenly-contested encounter, Dunross Preparatory School should have been two goals up in the first 15 minutes but muffed their chances and Tunapuna Boys’ RC capitalised and got their first item in the 13th minute through Oba Merritt.

In the second session, Dunross “Prep” conceded an own goal in the 19th minute before Dunross pulled one back in the 24th minute when Jesse Hospedales gave them a glimmer of hope. However, Tunapuna put the icing on the cake when MVP Antawyn Williams scored in the 29th to seal the issue.
