CARENAGE Boys Government clung on to their Under-15 Port of Spain and Environs Education District Atlantic Football League title, but only just.
Following a 2-2 draw with St Agnes Anglican, the defending champions held on to their title by way of penalty kicks.
After leading 2-0 at the halftime interval with goals by Hakim Farray and Kelon Edwards, the eight-time champions saw Dante Goddard and Jelani Cox score to knot up the game.
And then it took an agonising 24 penalties to decide the title game, with Carenage Government winning 9-8.
Earlier At Agnes Anglican took the boys Under-12 dethroned Dunross edging them 1-0 on an 11th minute goal by Jelani Cox, who smashed his shot past goalkeeper Ethan Hong.
