Highly-rated Kilmarnock striker Rory McKenzie is considering switching international allegiance to Trinidad & Tobago, Sky Sports can confirm.
The 18-year-old, who has come through the youth ranks at Rugby Park, is now a firm fixture in the first-team squad having made his debut last year.
McKenzie is a Scotland youth international, having been capped by the Scottish Under-19 side.
But now it has emerged that Trinidad and Tobago are making an audacious bid to claim his services.
McKenzie qualifies for the Caribbean nation through his grandmother, and his agent confirmed the Soca Warriors are interested.
Interest
"There is an interest from Trinidad and Tobago," his agent Gordon Reid confirmed to Sky Sports.
"But we must stress Rory has not accepted or even taken the matter further.
"It is flattering, of course, but at the moment he is concentrating on his Kilmarnock future.
"That is not to say he will not look at it in the future, but he is happy with the situation at the moment."
