His goal on Monday versus Honduras was not only crucial towards this country’s progress to the quarter-finals of the Concacaf Gold Cup but Kevin Molino may just have increased his chances of entering Europe next season.

Word reaching the Trinidad and Tobago camp is that at least three clubs have already started taking a closer look at the Carenage-born midfielder as he helped guide T&T past Honduras in Houston. One of the clubs preferred to remain anonymous but currently has a T&T player in its line up.

“The important thing was helping the team progress. This is my third major tournament after playing in two youth World Cups and I really wanted us to do well. I think the win puts us in a nice position. We have showed that we are capable of playing well at this level and now it’s down to consistency,” Molino said.

About the interest in him, the Orlando City player added: “It’s good to be on the radar but more importantly I want to be able to keep on improving and getting the experienced. I’ve worked hard and at the moment Orlando City is my club and I will continue to focus on my game.”
