Trinidad and Tobago’s Senior National Football Team is up a huge 37 spots in the latest FIFA World Ranking released today from 74th in September. Stephen Hart’s team is now 49th, their highest position since June 2001.
The climb in the FIFA Ranking sees Trinidad and Tobago move to fourth in the CONCACAF Ranking with Costa Rica top, Mexico second, and the USA third, while T&T is first among the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) nations. They were FIFA's best movers, alongside Togo and Northern Ireland.
T&T is unbeaten since a 2-0 loss to Iran on June 8, 2014 and recently won all three CFU qualifiers, which saw them qualify for the final round in Jamaica.
T&T Women team are also ranked in the top 50, they are ranked number 46.
