SOCA WARRIORS coach Stephen Hart is optimistic about the level of his team’s preparation ahead of next week’s Caribbean Cup starting on Monday in Montego Bay, Jamaica.

The team will leave for Jamaica on Sunday and would face Curacao in their first encounter on Tuesday and two days later they play French Guyana.

They play their final match in Group A against defending champions Cuba November 14

Hart believes that the squad is balanced as he would be able to rotate the team in order to get the best out of everyone since they would be playing four matches in eight days.

“I think it’s a balanced squad, balanced in the sense we have good options tactically in the mid-field which for me is the strength of the team,” Hart said.

He mentioned that he changed the front line of the team by bringing in more height because he didn’t like the outcome of the last match.

Hart went on to state that Jonathan Glenn was a good addition to the team after looking at him for some time and liked what he brought to the table. He is also happy about the last minute changes to the tournament which started a day later and would now allow them an extra day to prepare.

With the object being to qualify for the 2015 Gold Cup Heart expects the best performance from his team.

“Our first objective is how we play, how we go into the tournament, and we are going there to qualify.

“We are going to try and win the tournament but the objective is to qualify for the Gold Cup in 2015.” he stressed.
