Blackpool Sports Club will stage their Rajak Toyo, Roger Memorial football match today from 4 p.m. at the Aranjuez recreation ground.
The 2005 version of the annual event is being held to honour two stalwarts of local football, Hugh Mulzack and Bissoon Birsingh.
Mulzack was a former Colts and Trinidad and Tobago footballer, while Birsingh is the founder of the Progressive Youth Movement (PYM) Football League, which introduced minor league football to the San Juan area.
In their honour, two opposing teams will play what is expected to be a keenly-contested match at Aranjuez.
Among those invited to play for the Rajah Toyo team are former national players Alvin Corneal, Vernon Sadaphal and Sedley Joseph, while Carlton Francis, Winfield St Hill and Garton Craig will line up pn the other side.
