Members of the national training squad listen attentively as restaurant owner Adam Aboud, right, and coach Terry Fenwick address them yesterday at Adam's Gourmet Restaurant and Bakery in Maraval.

This country’s men’s senior team was on Tuesday hosted by Adam’s Gourmet Restaurant and Bakery for brunch at its Maraval branch following a light training session at the St James Police Barracks in Port-of-Spain.

Adam Aboud, owner of the restaurant and bakery said he was thrilled to have the senior team members at his branch.

“I’ve always been a proud supporter of our national football teams and it was my privilege to have the members of the squad at our restaurant today for a brunch session.

“I know Terry Fenwick and his staff, along with the TTFA, have been going all out to ensure the team is well prepared and we felt it would be a nice gesture to show our appreciation and have the players here with us today. We surely did enjoy having them over and I’d like to take this opportunity to wish the team the very best going forward,” Aboud said.

The team is preparing for the qualifiers of the CONCACAF Gold Cup and FIFA World Cup, both of which are scheduled to begin next year.

Also in attendance was chairman of the Normalisation Committee Robert Hadad and Commissioner of Police Gary Griffith.
