Trinidad and Tobago's senior footballers pulled off a convincing 3-0 victory over Argentine Second Division club Quilmes in yesterday's training match at the home training centre for the Argentina national team in Buenos Aires.
Goals by half time substitute Densill Theobald (56th), and two other second half substitutes Cornell Glen (62nd) and Kendall Jagdeosingh (67th) completed the win for the visiting Warriors.

Quilmes played their full quota of first team players and were on par with TT in the first half, having the real first chance on goal in the 2nd minute when Juan Oliveres' shot from the six metre box was pushed onto the post by goalkeeper Marvin Phillip.

T&T had only one change to their starting team from the 1-1 draw with Argentinos Juniors on Saturday, with Keon Daniel coming in for Kevaughn Connell.

Keyeno Thomas wore the captain's armband for T&T. And his side picked up the tempo in the second half.

Theobald's goal was a beauty. He collected a ball from Connell on the left, then drifted inside and unleashed a right footer into the top right corner from 25 metres out. Glen then doubled up from close range after Anthony Wolfe did the hard work and picked him out from the right. Then it was Jagdeosingh's turn to hit home again from close range on an assist by Trent Noel.

T&T coach Francisco Maturana told TTFF Media: "This was a good result for us but I was happy more with the intensity and the organisation.

"Quilmes were not bad and we maintained our shape and then lifted it in the second half. I am happy that (the) three goals were well taken and there (were) some good performances from the players which shows that they are responding well to the training and are all going further to try and get into the team for the World Cup matches."
