“There are 120 applicants to do these “C” Licence Courses and we are looking towards conducting a Course every month after carnival to service this tremendous interest that has been shown,” Shabazz told TTFF Media.

“The TTFF welcomes the interest shown especially by former players to become certified in coaching since coach education is an important part of the long term development of the game.

“Today we are borrowing from the Dutch vision for football. This generation which is becoming  coaches must be part of developing our own vision for T&T football in the future,” Shabazz added.

A panel of local coaches headed by Anton Corneal completed an extensive exercise under the Dutch Coach Educators last week and are now certified  by the TTFF to conduct these courses. The course runs until Saturday.
