Warriors-PodOmaticThe Soca Warriors Online (SWO) would like to introduce its followers to an exciting feature on its website called Warriors-PodOmatic.

Warriors-PodOmatic is a Podcast hub that hosts programs which cover a wide range of issues and events such as T&T football, Fantasy League football and the EPL. Other major events happening around the globe are also highlighted.

The Warriors-PodOmatic was started back in March 2009 by yours truly and since its inception it has been relatively inactive due to the lack of technical equipment and time. Recently though, it’s listenership has grown steadily with the interest taken by SWO and Warrior Nation members Anthony "Firebrand" Valley and Omar “dinho” Romero to  ensure that the thoughts, ideas and feelings of the fans of football are expressed through a series of prerecorded podcast productions.

Together both men have stepped in to help revive Warriors-PodOmatic and take football discussions to the next level, while promoting the SWO, its sister club the Warrior Nation and T&T football all together.

Valley says his intention is to assist the SWO in gaining more visibility and exposure and to further facilitate positive and progressive discourse among the fans and other stakeholders of T&T football. As such he is actively involved in the creation, organization and production of engaging SWO programs and events and has created an entirely new Podcast sister website to host more of SWO’s podcasts.

Romero on the other hand can be viewed as the techie in this partnership, lending his expertise, equipment and voice (as host) to the production of the two successful podcast series the duo has launched since last summer. Romero is the also the driving force behind the “FPL Vibes” Fantasy League podcast series. Along with fantasy league guru and co-creator “Darryl “2cents” Celestine and Valley (on occasion), the three football fanatics provide listeners with insightful tips on playing the game of fantasy league football, news on the English Premier League and a heavy dose of “picong”.

Their latest production entitled “Warrior Call” sparked much interest when the upcoming T&T World Cup Qualifiers against Guyana was discussed, as well as aspects of the T&T Pro League.

Joining them as a special guest on the “Warrior Call” was our very own Nigel "Tallman" Myers, a man with great knowledge of T&T football and co-host English-born Kevin "Football Supporter" Harrison who is now based in Trinidad and Tobago and is attached to local outfit North East Stars.

To further stimulate the interest of its listeners the Warriors-PodOmatic production team has plans in preparation to invite and feature more renown supporters, coaches, administrators and past and present players in its future programs.

What makes the Warriors-PodOmatic special is the fact that you can listen to its podcasts for free on iTunes and all episodes are for all ages. For those who would like their voices, ideas and opinions to be heard, Warriors-PodOmatic is the medium though which this can be achieved.

We welcome and encourage our listeners and readers to get involved and come out and support this venture. Anyone interested in being featured on any of the Warriors-PodOmatic programs can contact Firebrand at warriorfire@gmail.com or dinho at trini_omar@hotmail.com.
