She was recognised for being one of two Tobago players selected to the Secondary Schools All Star team. She also received a plaque for being the only Tobago player selected among the top five players nationally.

The hard-working mid-fielder played a pivotal role in her school, Roxborough Secondary, capturing their first ever Zonal League Championship trophy. Benjamin is an excellent dribbler, has good vision and kicks the ball hard.

The other Tobago player recognised for being selected to the All Star team was Karyn Forbes, a national Under 20 player who was a one-man army for Signal Hill Comprehensive Secondary.

Forbes who is one of the hardest kickers among females in Trinidad and Tobago and is a free-kick specialist led her team to the Zonal Inter-Col title.

However, Mason Hall Government Secondary boys' team was the toast of the function, having captured the Zonal League and Inter-Col titles.
