HOLY CROSS thrashed hosts Five Rivers 4-1 on Tuesday, in the East Zone of the Shell/First Citizens- sponsored Boys Championship Division of the Secondary Schools Football League (SSFL).
Allan Samuel put the home team ahead in the 31st but Holy Cross stormed back in emphatic fashion.
Kobe Douglas notched a pair, in the 38th and 90th minutes, while Ackeem Mason struck in the 54th and Devon Charles in the 67th to complete the comefrom- behind win.
Trinity College East blanked Barataria South 3-1 at Trincity.
Marli Greaves (18th), Jalani Augustus (60th) and Myles Ryan (80th) got their names on the scoresheet for Trinity East, while Darren Daniel responded for Barataria, in the 50th.
Valencia were also in winners’ row on Tuesday, as they edged Toco 2-1 at Valencia.
There were goals aplenty in the Central Zone, with a total of 22 were scored in three matches.
Gasparillo annihilated Miracle Ministries 9-0 while Carapichaima East crushed Couva East 6-1 - both at Couva.
And, in Chaguanas, Tabaquite and Presentation Chaguanas battled to a 3-3 draw.
Princes Town West stayed at the top of the South Zone after a 1-0 win at home over Moruga, while Siparia West spanked Vessigny 3-1 at La Brea.
And one match was contested in the North Zone, with Tranquility getting the better of Maple Leaf 3-2 at the Tranquility Ground.
