TREVONNE JAMES and Antonio Balfour got first-half goals to book a spot for Scarborough Secondary in the final of the Tobago Zone of the RBTT Inter-Col series with a 2-0 win over Bishops High School at the Dwight Yorke Stadium in Bacolet yesterday.
Scarborough will meet zonal defending champion team Signal Hill Senior Comprehensive on Monday in the final, at the same venue.
The Signal Hill boys having won 3-2 over Roxborough Composite in the other semifinal.
James opened the scoring in the 25th minute for Scarborough, the champion Tobago league team.
Balfour got the second goal for Scarborough five minutes later in very comical fashion.
His attempted cross into the Bishops penalty area was completely misjudged by Martin and the ball landed in the net.
In the end, the two first-half goals were enough for last years beaten zonal finalist to reach the final against longtime rival Signal Hill.
Kirsten Benjamin fired in the first goal for Signal Hill in the 26th minute, but three minutes before the interval the score was levelled, by a Kevon Adams blast for Roxborough.
Kyle Parker regained the lead for Signal Hill in the 75th minute while Nicholas Goddard got a third in the 83rd minute from the penalty spot.
Grevon Crooks got a late second goal for Roxborough in added-on time, but referees Lester Alleyne final whistle came shortly after to end the teams 2004 season.
