Pro League clubs Point Fortin Civic and Police FC became the latest top-tier clubs to advance into the quarter-final round of the 2014 Toyota Classic by ousting St. Ann's Rangers and Guaya United respectively on Sunday.

Civic were comfortable 3-0 winners over fellow Pro League compatriots and minnows Rangers at the Mahaica Oval.

Marcus Joseph, Andre Toussaint and Andrei Pacheco grabbed a goal each in the 37th, 59th and 63rd minutes respectively to send the home side through.

While at the St. James Barracks, home side Police FC came from behind to edge last season's semi-finalists Guaya United 2-1.

Utility player Elijah Belgrave equalised for the "Lawmen" in the 30th minute after Guaya's Beville Joseph opened the scoring in the 11th minute. And in the 68th minute of play midfielder Jibri McDavid snatched the winner.

Police securing a quarter-final match-up against Defence Force (6-0 preliminary round winners over Petrotrin Palo Seco) will host the soldiers from 6.15 pm at the St. James Barracks on Saturday 29 November.

Also on Saturday Caledonia AIA (3-0 winners over Defence Force's Super League outfit) are against Super League high-rollers WASA FC (4-3 penalty kicks winners over W Connection following a 1-1 draw) from 3 pm at the Larry Gomes Stadium in their quarter-final round clash.

But the Toyota Classic action resumes on Friday 28 November at the Ato Boldon Stadium with a rescheduled preliminary round double header.

Central FC will tackle Super League outfit and tournament newcomers La Horquetta SA from 6 pm with the winner advancing to meet Point Fortin Civic in the quarter-final round.

And from 8 pm Super League leaders and last season's defeated Toyota Classic finalists Club Sando will meet former winners North East Stars.

The winners of that match will advance to meet San Juan Jabloteh (4-0 winners over 1976 FC Phoenix) in the quarter-final round.

Today (Tuesday 25 November) top-tier clubs will shift their focus to the Digicel Pro League (DPL) with Round One Match Day Five.

Simultaneously at the Marvin Lee Stadium St. Ann's Rangers, still in search of its point, will meet Caledonia AIA from 6 pm and from 8 pm Police FC will take on North East Stars.
