T&T Women's Football League

Afiyah Cornwall made it eight goals in two matches when she scored five times to lead Club Sando to a second straight 12-0 win in the T&T Women’s League Football, this time over Police FC at the Arima Municipal Stadium, Arima on Sunday.

Women's football in T&T will take place this year as planned, but only after a few key changes are made to fall in line with T&T Football Association (TTFA) requirements.

Club Sando women demolished league debutants Atlas Athletic International Academy 12-0 to stay perfect on matchday three of the T&T Women’s League Football (TTWoLF), at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium, Marabella, on Saturday afternoon.

The TTFA will be set to launch another initiative through the support of the FIFA Women’s Development Programme. This initiative will be a Girls U14 League (TTFA G14 League). For this inaugural league, twelve teams are registered. Eight teams from Trinidad and 4 Teams from Tobago and is scheduled to start with a League Opening on Sunday 5 March 2023.

THERE is debate over whether Trinidad and Tobago goalkeeper Kimika Forbes will be allowed to take the field for today’s Ascension-sponsored Big 8 tournament which will be played at the Diego Martin Regional Complex, from 4 p.m.

The Army women put 19 goals past Atlas Athletic International Academy at the Trinity College East Grounds in Trincity in the Claire George Conference on Saturday.

Terminix La Horquetta Rangers will clash with Police FC for the Ascension-sponsored Women’s Football League title on Sunday at 4 pm at the Hasely Crawford Stadium in Mucurapo, Port-of-Spain.
