TTFA to launch Girls U-14 League

The TTFA will be set to launch another initiative through the support of the FIFA Women’s Development Programme. This initiative will be a Girls U14 League (TTFA G14 League). For this inaugural league, twelve teams are registered. Eight teams from Trinidad and 4 Teams from Tobago and is scheduled to start with a League Opening on Sunday 5 March 2023.

The main objectives for the league are:

  • Opportunity for younger girls to play outside of school 
  • Opportunity for female coaches to lead teams 
  • Opportunity to recruit players for the new cycle of the TTFA High Performance Programme
  • Growing participation of girls that play football 
  • Creating club culture  

Teams are welcoming girls born between Jan 1 2009 – Dec 31 2011. The participating teams and their locations are as follows:
