Director of Women’s Football and Head Coach of the Trinidad and Tobago Senior Women’s team, Carolina Morace, recently held a workshop with coaches from the Trinidad and Tobago Women’s League Football (TT WoLF).
The workshop comprised of 2 separate sessions, the first was an introductory meeting held on Wednesday 17 May at Ato Boldon with focus on warm up and fitness exercises while the second session was a classroom and field session that focused on zonal defending, held on May 27th at the same venue.
Morace has decided that the players on Senior and U-20 Teams will be released to train and play with their Clubs while the U17s will be entered as a team into the Premier Division. She said the main aim of this Workshop was to try to create a link between Clubs and National Team and to share her philosophy.
She continued that the information presented did not have to be used but moreso to act as a guideline to give the coaches ideas for their teams. In the end, Kenrick Hoyte, General Manager, Real Dimension WFC thanked Morace and Williams profusely for taking the time to meet and share information with them. In turn, Morace stated that they are available for any assistance the coaches may need going forward.
