Stokely Vale ended the perfect run of leaders Roxborough Lakers in the Tobago Football Association Premier Division with a 2-1 victory at Goodwood on Sunday night.

Curtis Job and Nick Campbell were on target for “Vale” while Ackeel Sterling fired in Lakers lone reply in its first loss in four matches to start the season. Despite the defeat, Lakers till head the 12-team table with nine points from four matches, two more than the trio of Mason Hall USSS, Bethel United and Lambeau United.

On Friday, Anson Campbell got the lone strike as Lambeau eked out a 1-0 win over Mason Hall USSS at Canaan Ground, Bon Accord while Bethel’s match against Taylor Rentals Goal City was not played due to unavailability of the Shaw Park Complex venue.

Also on Sunday, the struggles of defending champions, St Clair Coaching School continued with a 2-2 draw against Sidey’s at Speyside while Youth Stars and Georgia drew goalless.
 
The draw left St Clair ninth on the table with four points from four matches while Sidey’s s two spots below with three points. In the First Division, Hills United and Carnbee/Mt Pleasant stay top of the standings with six points each after contrasting wins on Saturday.

Eustace Stewart banged in a hat-trick for Hills United in a 7-3 demolition of Moriah Youths, and Carnbee/Mt Pleasant got a goal each from Sheldon Belfast and Delroy Fraser in a hard 2-1 win over Golden Lane.
