Stefano Wright scored the lone goal as Mason Hall USSS dumped title-holder Roxborough Lakers from this year’s Tobago Football Association FA Trophy competition with a 1-0 triumph in their quarterfinal on Tuesday night.

With the win, Mason Hall sets up a semifinal meeting with Bethel United tomorrow at the Cyd Gray Recreation Ground from 7 pm, while Lambeau and Golden Lane square off in the first semifinal at the same venue from 5 pm.

Bethel got the better of Leeds United 3-1 on penalty-kicks after a 1-1 draw at the end of regulation-time while Lambeau blanked Goal City 2-0 with a strike each from Curtis Joseph and Anson Campbell.

And in the most entertaining quarterfinal, Golden Lane overcame a Eustace Stewart hat-trick to draw 4-4 with Hills United before advancing 3-2 on penalty-kicks.

The final and third place matches are carded for September 20 at the Cyd Gray Recreation Ground as well, with the winner set to walk away with $40,000 and the runner-up $25,000.

The third placed team will collect $10,000 and secure the third and final TFA spot to the T&T Football Association FA competition, while fourth gets $5,000.
