Lambeau missed out on a share of the lead at the top of the eight-team Tobago Football Association Premier Division after it was held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Mason Hall USSS at Moriah on Sunday.

Darreon Moses got the goal for Lambeau while Caston Cupid netted for Mason Hall as both teams had to settle for a point each.

The draw left, Lambeau joint third on the table with Georgia on four points each, two behind joint-leaders Sidey’s and Youth Stars United.

In the two other Premier Division matches played on Sunday, Georgia and Roxborough Lakers registered their first victories of the season.

At Mt Gomery Ground, Kerron Phillips scored two and Nyron Orr, the other for Georgia in its 3-0 blanking of former champions Bethel United who remained winless while Lakers edged Black Rock FC 2-1 at Courland.

For Lakers’, Sellon Gray and Kirn Harris found the back of the net while Trevor Alleyne was on target for Black Rock in the loss.

In Division One, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant edged Calder Hall 1-0 on a goal from Michael John to join Bell Garden at the top with seven points apiece after the latter’s 1-1 draw with Buccoo Ball Park.

Goodwood United moved to within a point of the leaders after it whipped St Clair Coaching School 4-1 led by a double from Mark Agard while Charloteville Unifiers and Federal Northside battled to a 1-1 deadlock.

Georgia move up in Tobago

GEORGIA FC slipped into second position in the early going of the Premier Division of the Tobago Football Association with a comprehensive 3-0 shut out of Bethel United at Mt Gomery.

Kerron Phillip snatched a double in Sunday’s game while Nyron Orr put the icing on the cake.

But although idle, both Youth Stars and Sidey’s continue to share the lead on six points each.

Goals from Sellon Gray and Kirn Harris gave Roxborough Lakers their first victory 2-1 over Black Rock at Courland.

Trevor Alleyne netted for the losers.

Lambeau missed a chance to join the leaders when they were held to a 1-1 draw by Mason Hall USSS at Moriah.

Caston Cupid scored for the Mason Hall team while Darreon Moses got the goal for the men from Lambeau.

In Division One action on Sunday, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant joined Belle Garden at the top with a slim 1-0 triumph over Calder Hall on a goal by Michael John.

The Belle Garden men were held to a 1-1 draw by lowly Buccoo Ball Park.

Linsay Clarke scored for Belle Garden while Johnan Roberts got the Buccoo men’s goal.

After defaulting their previous game, St Clair’s Coaching School were hammered 4-1 by Goodwood United.

Mark Agard had a double, Luke Agard and Keon Lewis get one each for the men from Goodwood while Shaquille King got the consolation.
