CARNBEE/MT PLEASANT bombed Belle Garden 4-0 to make sure of the Division One title in the Tobago Football Association.
On Thursday afternoon at the Cyd Gray Complex, Evander Roberts notched a double while Keishon Romeo and Nave Roach scored the other goals for the winners.
The men from Carnbee/Mt Pleasant ended their 14-match programme with 38 points, seven better than Goodwood who also shut out Buccoo Ball Park 4-0 at Goodwood with doubles from Mark Agard and Delano Davis. In a clash of bottom clubs, St Clair’s Coaching School triumphed over Federal Northside by default.
Meanwhile, in a Premier Division game, Georgia FC edged Mason Hall USSS 2-1 to keep second place on a superior goal-difference over Youth Stars. Both teams have 25 points with one match remaining, but the Georgians have a plus 18 goal-difference to Youth Stars’ plus nine.

Georgia kept hopes alive of finishing as runner-up in the Tobago Football Association Premier Division after a narrow 2-1 defeat of Mason Hall USSS in a rescheduled clash on Wednesday.
Garvin Mc Kenna and Joel Jack got a goal each for Georgia to join Youth Stars with 25 points and a match left to play for both teams while Terry Sandy got the lone item for cellar placed Mason Hall USS, which is certain of relegation.
Champions Sidey’s lead with 31 points from 13 matches, as it secured qualification to the T&T Football Association (T&TFA) Champion of Champions competition to determine the qualifiers to the National Super League alongside Police (Northern Football Association) and Cunupia FC (Central Football Association).
Golden Lane will campaign in the TFA Premier Division next year having secured the Championship Division title and it will be joined by either Earlbrokes or one of two current Premier Division clubs in Bethel United or Lambeau.
This after Earlbrokes ended second on the standings and next tackles the seventh placed finisher from the top flight, Lambeau or Bethel in a one match playoff for the other promotion spot while the eight placed team HV Milan has been demoted to Division One.
And in Division One, Carnbee/Mt Pleasant SC gained automatic promotion as champions while second placed Goodwood United which will face Signal Hill United, seventh in the Championship Division, in their promotion/demotion playoff.
