Black Rock, the recent winners of the e 2017 Tobago Football Association FA trophy final was brought back down to earth with a 3-0 loss at the hands of Stokely Vale when matches in the Premier Division resumed on the weekend.
Stokely Vale went ahead as early as the second minute thanks to an own goal before adding late strikers through Krishown Joseph in the 85th and Jamaine Walters, two minutes into injury time.
With the win, Stokely Vale improved to 40 points from 15 matches, seven ahead of Sidey’s FC while Signal Hill is third with 31 after spanking Georgia FC 5-2 led by two goals each from Tyrone Manning and Devon Stewart.
In the Second Division, leaders, Moriah Youths battled back from a 3-1 deficit past Earlbrokes 4-3 thanks to a hat-trick from Kino Proctor in the 36th, 57th and 68th minutes.
Jase George added the decisive item for Moriah Youths, now with 45 points from 21 matches, while Henson Charles (34th & 50th), and Nolan Orr (44th) were on target for Georgia.
