MASON Hall U SSS need at least four points from their remaining two matches to secure a spot in the Premier Division of the Digicel Tobago Football Association (TFA) following a 1-1 draw with NLCB Mt Grace last weekend at Plymouth.
They are locked together with 1976 FC Phoenix and Northside Combined on the same number of points for the second promotion spot to play in the top-flight next season.
Phoenix lead on goal difference over Northside Combined and Mt Grace in that order.
All three clubs have a pair of contests to complete their schedule.
In recent results, Phoenix roughed up bottom-of-the-table Youth Stars 3-1 at Goodwood last Friday.
Ashley McMillan, Melvin Nero and Akim Baynes found the back of the net for Phoenix, who were relegated to the lower division three seasons ago.
Keishon Denoon notched a consolation item for the losers.
Moriah Youths handed Youth Stars their second defeat of the weekend, beating them 2-1 at  Dusty Park in Hope Village on Sunday.
Doing the business for the winners were Eldon Paul and Omari Taylor, while Akeil Thomas got the lone effort for Youth Stars.
Also on Sunday, Northside Combined kept their ambitions afloat to play in the top bracket in 2009 when they brushed aside Black Rock United 2-1 at Montgomery to knock them completely out of the race for promotion. Kareem Duncan and Julien Stewart did the work for Northside.
Michael Carrington was the goalscorer for Black Rock, who went cold after dominating the earlier part of the season.
