CENTRAL FC player Keron "Ballpest" Cummings scored two goals to record a 3-2 comeback victory over a determined San Juan Jabloteh on Saturday at the Phase Two La Horquetta Recreation Grounds, La Horquetta.
Keron "Ballpest" Cummings gave Central the early scoring from the penalty spot in the third minute. Cummings calmly placed the ball to the right of the diving goalkeeper Jesse Peters.
Ten minutes later, Dantaye Gilbert tapped in close range in the 13th minute to score Jabloteh's first goal of the campaign and tie the match 1-1.
Jabloteh's Trevis Byron gave his team the 2-1 lead with a scorching long-range shot from distance in the 36th minute catching goalie Hakeem Lucas off guard. His terrific goal is in the lead for goal of the tournament.
Central flipped the script in the second half and applied pressure to the young Jabloteh team. Maurice Dick levelled the score in the 51st and former national midfielder and skipper Cummings completed his double in the 81st to seal the victory for his team.
Central FC move on to ten points at the top of the table.
In another match, W Connection and Morvant Caledonia United played to a goalless draw at the Manny Ramjohn Stadium on Saturday.
