The Trinidad and Tobago Football Association will be staging a National Girls Tournament/Festival at the St Mary’s College Ground and St Joseph’s Convent College Ground in Port of Spain on Saturday April 30th, 2016 from 10am.

Members of the TTFA Technical Committee and Women coaches from the National Program will be in attendance with the view of scouting players for selection on the Trinidad and Tobago National Under 15 Girls Team.

All local clubs and schools are invited to attend the event and individual players are also invited to take part. Further information can be obtained by contacting the TTFA head office at 623-9500.

Girls born on or after January 1st, 2001 are eligible to participate.

The TTFA is in the process of preparing a National Under 15 Girls Team to participate at the CONCACAF U-15 Girls Championship which takes place from August 9-21 in Orlando, Florida at Disney’s Wide World of Sports.

A total of 26 national teams are expected to participate at the 2016 CONCACAF Under-15 Girls’ Championship.

The distribution of teams are as follows:

  • 3 teams from NAFU: Canada, Mexico and USA.
  • 5 teams from UNCAF: Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and Nicaragua.
  • 18 teams from CFU: Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Bahamas, Barbados, Bermuda,British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Cuba, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grenada, Haiti, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, St. Lucia, Trinidad and Tobago, and US Virgin Islands.
