T&T head coach Marlon Charles was notably relieved and pleased to see his players able to brush off the loss of twenty four hours earlier.

“The effort was better from the entire team,” Charles told TTFA Media,

“These players are in a learning environment and everyday is a new lesson for them. It was good to see Aaliyah get among the goals and Annika got us off to a good start. I am proud of the players doing as much as they can in this tournament.

“We have two tough games left against Mexico and Haiti and I am looking to see how they will face up to these teams. They showed good character today and now will look to continue it for the rest of the tournament,” Charles said.
