Nataki KerrThe Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Nataki Kerr, as the Deputy CEO and Director of Marketing of the Local Organising Committee (LOC) for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup Trinidad and Tobago 2010.

Ms. Kerr has a B.A. (Hons) from the University of the West Indies, St. Augustine and an MBA from the Arthur Lok Jack School of Business.

Ms. Kerr has worked in number of positions covering a range of industries including the financial and postal services sectors.

Ms. Kerr  brings a wealth of experience in the following areas:
  • Marketing and Promotions
  • Marketing Research
  • Event Coordination
  • Public Relations

Ms. Kerr is also a part-time lecturer in Event Management and Business Communications at the School of Business and Computer Science.

TTFF Special Advisor Jack Warner has described Ms. Kerr’s hiring as the dawn of a new era.

“We in the TTFF are committed to ensuring the advancement of women in all spheres. This country will be hosting the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup next year and it is imperative that women lead this initiative. Women continue to shatter all boundaries in every facet of society, they have done it on the football field and they are doing it in the TTFF. Ms. Kerr is the latest addition to our team, she is well qualified for the tasks ahead and I wish her all the best.”

TTFF President Mr. Oliver Camps also extended a heartfelt welcome to Ms Kerr, “The world is changing, leadership roles are changing and the TTFF is also changing to reflect the times. I know Ms. Kerr will continue to grow in the TTFF family.”

Commenting on the Federation’s preparatory activities for the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Warner stated, “On Thursday there will be several major announcements relating to our hosting of the U-17 World Cup. Things are progressing smoothly. We have assembled a core group of qualified persons whose sole responsibility of this proper execution of this event. Trinidad and Tobago hosted a successful youth cup in 2001 and I am confident Trinidad and Tobago can do it again.”

The TTFF will be hosting a press conference on Thursday at 2pm at the Hyatt Regency Hotel.
