LYNDON LUKE scored a pair of second-half goals as Fire Service FC rallied from a goal down to defeat Central Soccer World 3-1 on Thursday last, in the Central Football Association (CFA) Premier League.

Dennis Hunte put Central Soccer World ahead in the 23rd minute at the Hugo Francis Recreation Ground but Michael Hospedales knotted the scores in the 48th. And Luke put the result beyond doubt with strikes in the 62nd and 74th minutes.

In another game on Thursday, at the Frederick Settlement Recreation Ground, Harlem Strikers edged Carapichaima Playmakers 2-1. Runnel Lynch put Harlem in front after 17 minutes but Carapichaima evened the scores courtesy of an own goal in the 58th.

However, Robbie Sookhai got the winner for Harlem, with five minutes of regulation time remaining.

Back at the Hugo Francis Ground on Friday, Perseverance Ball Runners were held to a 1-1 draw by Inter National Connection.

Paul Jones converted a fourth minute penalty to put Ball Runners ahead but the lead lasted five minutes, as Keron Andrews equalised for Inter National Connection.

At the Couva Recreation Ground on Sunday, Stephan Garcia scored twice, in the 12th and 68th minutes, while Joseph Farrel netted in the 86th, as Perseverance United blanked Leeds FC 3-0.
