Giants FC and Barrackpore United joined Erin FC as qualifiers to the Southern Football Association Premier Division “Big Six” competition with contrasting wins in Pool B.
Giants FC stayed top of the table with 22 points from nine matches after a default win over Pele Pele, while Barrackpore United hammered Guapo United 8-1 led by two goals from Jesse Downing to move to 21 points from the same number of matches.
Third placed Union Hall United has 18 points after a 1-1 draw with defending champions, Pitchement FC, fourth with 14 points.
In Pool A, run-away leaders Erin FC stayed ten points clear of #9 United FC after clobbering Siparia Angels 6-1 inspired by a double from Dannel Henry.
There were also wins for #9 United FC and Palo Seco SC, 4-1 and 5-0 respectively over Diamond United and Penal All Stars.
