Nathan Regis with Pfeiffer University (2014 Carolinas Conference Champions)

Mateo Garces-Yepes converted on Pfeiffer’s fourth and final penalty kick as the Falcons (16-4-1) secured a 4-2 shootout victory over Lees-McRae (13-5-2) to capture the 2014 Conference Carolinas Tournament Championship on Saturday afternoon. Nicolas Dulac made two huge saves in penalty kicks and Pfeiffer went 4-for-4 in PK’s to clinch the title.

Nathan Regis vs Barton

In one of the most impressive showings of the season, the Pfeiffer men’s soccer team (16-4) overpowered Barton (13-6) by a final score of 6-0 on the campus of Limestone Thursday evening in the semifinals of the Conference Carolinas Tournament. Nathan Regis recorded a career-high seven points and his second hat trick of the season to lead the Falcons to their first Conference Tournament Championship game since 2000.

Nathan Regis and Martim Galvao were named to the First Team All-Conference and four other Falcons earned All-Conference accolades as announced by Conference Carolinas on Thursday afternoon. Pfeiffer has set the school record for most wins in a season (15) and most shutouts in a season (9) en route to earning the No. 2 seed in the Conference Carolinas Tournament.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. — American International Athletic Director Matt Johnson announced today that the college has removed the interim tag on Kevon Isa, naming him the full-time Head Coach of the nation's fourth-ranked women's soccer team after spending the last seven seasons as the team's primary assistant coach.
