The Prairie Fire men's soccer team's leading scorer is the recipient of his second honor this week for his standout play in three recent victories.
Sophomore Nathaniel Logie (Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, Queens Royal College) was named the Midwest Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday. He scored a combined five goals and two assists in wins last week at Concordia University Chicago and at home against Iowa Wesleyan College and Robert Morris University – Springfield.
Along with the MWC award, Logie has been selected as the Prairie Fire Performer of the Week.
Logie scored twice in the contests against Concordia and Iowa Wesleyan, and added his fifth goal of the week against RMU. He entered Wednesday's Ferris Trophy match against MacMurray College at Jorge Prats Field with nine goals and 20 total points so far this season.
Logie leads the Midwest Conference in all scoring categories while he's ranked #2 in the country (NCAA Division III) in goals scored and #3 in total points.
