The University of the District of Columbia Firebirds defeated the Chestnut Hill Griffins, 3-0, tonight at Wilson Stadium in Washington, DC. All of the UDC goals came in the second period, with Said Nabih scoring in the 56th minute; Akeil Belfon in the 79th minute and Nersa Djobo in the 88th minute with assists from Yael Medou and Kendel Penny.
With this win the Firebirds improve to 3-8-2 for the season and will see action again on October 25, at Barton College in Wilson, NC.
