Adelphi University freshman Issa Tall (Mulhouse, France) and junior Thorne Holder (Port of Spain, Trinidad) were named Atlantic Soccer Conference (ASC) Player of the Week and Goalkeeper of the Week as announced by the conference office on September 28. This is the first honor of the season for Tall, who was also named bigapplesoccer.com Player of The Week and the second ASC award for Holder.

Tall scored three goals in a pair of games last week. He had a hand in all three goals in Adelphi's win over Sacred Heart, scoring twice and assisting on another goal. He also scored the game winner in Adelphi's 2-1 win over Stony Brook, pushing his season total to four goals and one assist for nine points.

Holder allowed just one goal in two games last week. He had three saves in a shutout win over Sacred Heart before giving up one goal in Adelphi's win over Stony Brook while recording seven saves. Holder posted a 0.50 goals against average in 180 minutes on the week.

Adelphi returns to action on Wednesday, September 30 when they travel to Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey for a 4:00 pm contest with St. Peter's.
