Trinidad and Tobago’s Police FC drew its first match in Group C of the 2017 Scotiabank CONCACAF U-13 Champions League one-all with San Salvador of El Salvador, in Mexico last Saturday.
Edson Rene Martinez Raymundo put in the rebound after a back post shot came off the far upright to give San Salvador a 1-0 lead in the seventh-minute, before Nathaniel Carrim collected a cross at the near post and roofed the ball high into the net to bring Police level in the 54th-minute.
Yesterday Mexican team Pioneros Cancun defeated the T&T youth side 3-0. Christo Alatorre netted a brace in the 3rd and 25th minutes respectively before Diego Cortes' 31st minute item sealed the victory for the homeside.
Police FC will now come up against LD Alajuelense of Costa Rica today, in their final match of the tournament.
