Four of the five candidates vying to be president of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) will engage in a debate tonight.

The podium style debate will be televised live on WI Sports (Flow Ch.14) and will take place between eight o’clock and nine-thirty at the VIP Lounge of the Hasely Crawford Stadium. The moderator will be well-known sports commentator Fazeer Mohammed. 

Five persons have declared their candidacy for the post of president. 

Incumbent president and Port of Spain mayor Raymond Tim Kee, is challenged by W Connection president David John-Williams, Veteran Footballers Foundation of Trinidad and Tobago (VFFOTT) vice-president Selby Browne, 2002 World Cup referee Ramesh Ramdhan and Clynt Taylor, third vice-president of the Trinidad and Tobago Referees Association.

Meanwhile, the annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Trinidad and Tobago Football Association (TTFA) will be staged at the VIP Lounge, Hasely Crawford Stadium, Mucurapo on Sunday morning.

There is yet to be confirmation as to when the meeting will get going, but the focus of the meeting will be the election of president and the executive committee of the local footballing governing body. 

Raymond Tim Kee, who was elected unopposed in the last elections, on November 2012, will be challenged by four persons - W Connection president/Chief Executive Officer (CEO) David John-Williams, former ace referee Ramesh Ramdhan, vice-president of the Veterans Footballers Association of Trinidad and Tobago Selby Browne and vice-president of the TT Referees Association Clynt Taylor. 

All five candidates have either produced their manifestos or outlined their plans, if elected, to the hot seat of Trinidad and Tobago football.
